Our wise forefathers taught us that the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem (and the exile of our people) was precipitated by baseless hatred. Can you fathom for a moment and reflect on the amount of damage this has brought to the world over the last 1900 years? It is absolutely mind-boggling when you really think about it.
They also taught us that any generation which does not see it rebuilt, is held accountable as if it was destroyed by them. (meaning that we bear the same guilt for the identical crime of baseless hatred as if it happened right in front of our eyes by our own careless behavior).
We want to offer a sustainable solution towards the rebuilding the Mikdash. We know you desire to see the horrific and long dark exile end as well and we want to offer you several very practical ways to rectify the situation.
We are promoting two avenues in order to reach our destination. First, by providing vast opportunities to become involved in acts of Kindness/Chesed and the second is to provide learning opportunities to enrich the CHESED experience and bring more meaning and purpose to our daily lives.
We will provide you with information about YIBONEH'S events as well as events with EXISTING CHESED ORGANIZATIONS on a regular basis with the hope that you will find your place.
We believe in the potential of Am Yisrael and want to help EMPOWER THE COMMUNITY through our events and classes towards doing more CHESED.
